Existing smoke alarms that are manufactured 10 years ago must now be replaced with a photoelectric smoke alarm, this forms part of the Australian Standard. All smoke alarms must now be interconnected with every other smoke alarm within the property. The alarms must be hardwired or powered by a non-removable lithium 10-year battery and installed within each bedroom of the property. This must be taken into effect by 1st January 2027.
Selling
